Guests:
Pants Pants Pants, www.pantspantspants.biz
Uni and Her Ukelele, myspace.com/uniherukelele

Technical glitches meant the first 20 minutes or so of the show wasn't broadcast live, but was picked up for the podcast....so if you're downloading the show, you'll hear the goofiness, a journey song, or two, rick james, oh yeah, i went there.

Actually DJ Monkey called and requested another Journey song, he's as sick as me.

Then busted into the interview w/ Uni and Pants Pants Pants.

oh, and a double shot of Turbonegro because I'm excited about their upcoming US tour...and a song by New Model Army, same reason.

next week:
Oliver August, writer
Sonny Smith, singer/songwriter

thanks for listening.

August 9, 2007

David Corbett, author of Blood of Paradise, took over the cd decks and kicked out a badass Latin music special.

You'll have to listen b/c I can't figure out the songs...great stuff from Brazil, Mexico, from pop to metal to garage rock.

Corbett also discussed his book, based in El Salvador, and the political situation there as well as the idiocy of how Chaney was selling invading Iraq by using the "success" of El Salvador as an example.

see ya next week w/ The Holy Kiss, Uni and Her Ukelele and Sixteens.
